Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being.


Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility. It is ideal for helping to ease back pain associated with muscular weakness and associated poor posture by improving spinal stability.

Better control of the core (trunk) is also essential in improving stability and control of the upper and lower limbs in everyone from elite athletes to individuals with arthritic knees, hips or shoulders

Treatment can be arranged either one a one-to-one basis or as part of a small
